Most of the jobs Akar executes consist of on site activities viz. construction of civil structures, steel structures and other steel fabrication, lifting placement and installation of heavy equipment and materials etc. Due to this reason, the company has acquired requisite skills and infrastructure to execute independent on site jobs for its clients. Akar has a team of skilled technicians and jobbers who are well experienced in handling heavy equipment and material handling systems though the company has plans to own some of these equipment in the near future.

Tunkey Projects

Akar's team works many times under arduous conditions. Given is a bird eye view picture of a Waste Water Treatment Plant under construction by Akar for a 500 bed hospital at Shillong, in Meghalaya state of India. This Waste Water Treatment Plant has been executed in the face of acute adverse and arduous natural conditions (as can be seen in the picture) by Akar's adventurous team of engineers and associates.

ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT (MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT) OF DELHI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION.

Through the courtesy of M/s Larsen And Toubro Ltd. (ECC division), Akar installed mechanical equipment of Delhi Municipal Corporation at Rithalas in Delhi. The plants was designed to treat 40 million gallons of sewage per day. The highlights of the assignment are given below.

No. of aeration tanks	4 Nos.
Total pipe length	6 kms.
Pipe dia. from 50 mm upto	1.2 mtrs.

Above Clarifier bridge after installation. Akar's engineers installed four clarifier bridges in a span of 7 days. The above job is in progress as on 1st December 1999.
