Pumping stations supply water or sewage to the treatment facility or may be installed to boost up water head. Usually pumping stations are located near the water treatment facility or a potable water storage facility. It pumps directly into the piping system. These pump stations may be a part of these other structures. Pumps which pump directly into transmission lines and distribution systems are sometimes called high lift pumps. Booster pumps may be located anywhere in the system to increase the pressure in the pipeline. Booster pump stations are usually located remote from the main pump station, as in hilly topography, where pressure zones are required. Booster pumps may be needed to handle peak flows in a distribution system which can otherwise handle the normal flow requirements.
Akar has the capability to design, supply and install pumping stations for a variety of applications. Akar has installed sewage pumping stations and pumping stations for water supply systems.
Treatment of industrial waste water is a complex job. There are wide fluctuations in quality and quantity parameters. There are organic as well as inorganic substances such as oil, chemicals, medicines, acids, alkalies, grit and many other such ingredients which are difficult to treat and breakdown. The trick lies principally in prevention and isolation more than the treatment. Akar offers its services to help the client to find ways and means to reduce the loss of costly chemicals and thus reduce pollution load on the waste water treatment.
Our assistance helped many industries to reduce their pollution load and hence capital cost as well as running cost of waste water treatment plants. we have worked with many industries in treating their waste water. Main industrial segment, where we haveconsiderableexperience are Pulp and Paper, Textile Dyeing, Dairy, Steel Rolling Mills, Malt, Chemicals, Leather etc.
